The Scientific Organizing Committee of the Target Conference 2014 invites authors to submit abstracts for an oral or poster presentation within the three conference themes

Big Data Technologies and Architectures (Acquisition, Storage and Processing)
Queries, Data Models and Analysis
Big Data Visualization (Representation and Interpretation of Big Data)

The Scientific Organizing Committe encourages experts from diverse disciplines (astronomy, sensor technologies, space research, bioinformatics, medical sciences, social sciences, energy and sustainability, etc) to apply. The SOC aspires to provide a platform to these experst to discuss the three stages in the Big Data life cycle from the perspective of their own fields and search for cross-disciplinary solutions to existing Big Data challenges. In addition, we particularly encourage PhD students, female scientists and Big Data experts from outside of academia to submit an abstract for a presentation of their choice.
