International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR) 2014

Call for Paper

An annual event, International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR) is a collaborative venture of three universities in the South East Asia region: University Science of Malaysia (USM), Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah), and Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU).

Held successfully in 2012 by USM in Penang, Malaysia, and in 2013 by Unsyiah in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, this year ICMR would be held by UISU in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, on 16-18 October 2014.

With the theme “Multidisciplinary Knowledge for a Better Life”, we welcome abstracts from any disciplines, including, but not limited to:

Science (Applied): Computer, Information and Communication Technoloy, Engineering, etc;
Science (Natural): Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Medicine; Agriculture, etc.;
Social Science (Applied): Management, Economics, Accountancy, Politics, Law, Education, etc.;
Social Science: Religion, Languange, Philosophy, History, Geography Psychology, etc.

If you are interested in joining this conference and meeting other researchers, scholars, academics, educators, and students working for a better life, please send an abstract of no more than 500 words to Surya Dalimunthe at surya@uisu.ac.id by August 31, 2014. Please structure your abstract into paragraphs under five subheadings of: background of research; research objectives/questions; methodology; preliminary or expected findings, and conclusion.
