Data mining (DM) is often used by governments, companies, organizations or even individuals to gain insights into large amount of data that span different domains. To solve challenging domain problems and benefit from DM, different kinds of DM applications are developed. This special session provides a platform for researchers and application developers from data mining and its related areas to promote, present, discuss on-going research and contribute towards the advancement of data mining technologies.

Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished articles in the domains as follows, but are not limited to:
- DM processes, applications and frameworks
- Unbalanced data and rare class problem
- Single/multiple classifier systems
- Cybersecurity, intrusion/fraud detection and prevention

Paper Submission

*Prospective authors are invited to submit original manuscripts. The manuscript text should be in one-column page format. The length of the manuscripts prepared with the given template is 10 to 12 pages, up to 15 pages.

*The proceedings will be published in a Springer-Verlag book series.
*Selected papers will be invited to extend and publish in Special Issues of SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed international journals.
