Scope of the Edited Books:

Cloud computing is an infrastructure that is able to deliver different levels of services, by using many type of platforms and sharing the resources inside of it, to customers outside the cloud (over the Internet). The offered services can be dynamically configured via virtualization or other approaches and delivered on demand to the external customers, and it is massively and dynamically scalable.

Architectures and Protocols for Secure Cloud Environment investigates different protocols and architectures that can be used to design, create, and develop security mechanism by highlighting recent advances, trends, and contributions to the building blocks for solving security issues. This book is essential for researchers, engineers, and professionals interested in exploring recent advances in ICT security.



Aim & Objectives

Covers architectures and communications protocols in detail, illustrating solutions with practical implementation examples and case studies.
Provides an understanding of mutual relationships and dependencies between different protocols and architectural decisions.

Manuscript guidelines:

Refer to the link shown: Click here. The preparation of manuscripts submitted for the book must be original and not previously published elsewhere or currently under review. Expected chapter length is between 4,000 to 8,000 words or more (or can be discussed with the editors). The formatting of initial or draft manuscripts should follow: A4 page format, single column with 11 point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing, while submitting your manuscript as Microsoft Office Word document. Taylor & Francis follows Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition for reference style. However, as long as consistent style is maintained within any one work, logical variation on the CMS reference style are acceptable. Refer to manuscript instruction file.



Submission and Important Dates:

Prospective authors are encouraged to send a brief abstract or plan of their chapter at the earliest to Mr. Kashif Munir as email (kashifmr@kfupm.edu.sa), so as to get some initial comments. Final chapter submissions can also be done to the same email address. The submitted chapters would be peer-reviewed and feedback given.



Final draft chapters due: 15 September 2014 (last and final deadline)

Chapter acceptance notification: 30 September 2014

Camera ready chapters due: 30 October 2014

Publication of the books: December 2014 (tentative date)
