CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Issue “Biomedical Engineering and Human Centered Computing”

The aim of this special issue is to provide a platform for presenting the latest and emerging engineering approaches, methodologies and techniques in all fields related to biomedical and human-centered engineering. Recent advances in these interdisciplinary areas opened new horizons for explorations and many new methods have been developed that help to transform signals into knowledge.
We invite authors to submit their papers and contributions addressing (but not limited to) the following topics:
Biomedicine:
Practical biomedical signal analysis and biomedical imaging
Bioinformatics and artificial intelligence in medicine
Telemedicine, decision support systems in medicine
Mining of bioinformatics data
Biomechanics and biomaterials
Human Centered Computing:
Social and behavioral signal processing
Speech processing
Human-computer interaction
Cognitive computation

Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica (AEI) is peer reviewed scientific journal publishing articles from areas of electrical engineering and informatics. AEI offer possibility for young scientists and engineers to publish their novel ideas and developments. We also encourage author to submit extended versions of high quality conference papers.
