Presentation and Thematics

The object of these Conference is to gather the members of the scientific community for which the themes of research are bound to information hiding (steganography, watermarking, fingerprinting...) with interactions in the error correcting codes and the cryptography areas. This Conference aims at creating a dynamics on these themes by presenting the works of confirmed researchers and by valuing those of the PhD students.
The subjects expected from these conference can extend in a not exhaustive way around the following themes: models of security, steganography and steganalysis, watermarking, fingerprinting, design of algorithms, error correcting codes, decoding algorithms (syndrome, wet paper ...) and performances, adapted codes to insertion, information theory and cryptography, applications... For this third edition of this kind of conference with foreign invited speakers, we greatly appreciate to use a such powerful and useful free conference management system. The first edition, entitled JCS for “Journées Codes et Stéganographie” (Codes and Steganography Days) took place in Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan1 and the second one in Rennes2. The new acronym is JC2S for “Journées Dissimulation d'Information et interactions avec les Codes et la Cryptographie” (Information Hiding and interactions with Codes and Cryptography Days) pointing out the will to enlarge the scientific thematic spectrum.

Place and Organization
----------------------
Information Hiding and Interactions with Codes and Cryptography Days will take place at the École Militaire in Paris, 21 place Joffre, located in the center of Paris (7ème arrondissement). The registration fees are 240 Euros for permanents and 180 Euros for PhD students. As the number of places is limited, only registered members will be allowed to participate. A list of hotels will be available on the web site of the days. Lunches of Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th will be served at the conference place. A social event is planned on Monday 25th evening with a Dinner-Cruise in bateaux-mouches along the Seine river. Lunches, coffee-breaks, visits and diner-cruise is included in the registration. The registration will be done directly on the web site of the JC2S Days.
