Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
Dear Colleagues,
The 26th International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS) will be taking place next year in Hamburg, Germany, from 29 June to 1 July, at DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron | German Electron Synchrotron). We are working diligently to make this a very special event. Have a look at the most recent updates and quick facts: ---------------------------------- ICCS News and Quick Facts: ---------------------------------- [1] Submission deadline: 23 January 2026. Submit your paper now to the following: https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=iccs2026 [2] ICCS 2026 format: We are happy to announce that ICCS 2026 in Germany, like the previous edition in Singapore, will be a fully in-person event. https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/meeting-format/ There will still be a registration option (incl. publishing) for authors of accepted contributions who are unable to join us in Hamburg. [3] ICCS proceedings will be published in Springer's LNCS and indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indices. [4] The Call for Workshops is now open: https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/call-for-workshops/ [5] ICCS is well known for its exciting keynote lectures. https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/keynote-lectures/ Confirmed so far are: - Andrew Adamatzky, University of the West of England Bristol, UK - George Karniadakis, Brown University, USA - Amanda Randles, Duke University, USA - Christian Schroer, DESY | University of Hamburg, Germany Please read below for further details. We would appreciate if you would forward this call to your colleagues. ****************************************************** * ICCS 2026 * International Conference on Computational Science * DESY, Hamburg, Germany, 29 June - 1 July 2026 * http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/ ****************************************************** ---------------------------------- Call for papers ---------------------------------- The 26th International Conference on Computational Science - ICCS 2026 - is now inviting submissions reporting original, unpublished research, and recent developments in Computational Sciences by 23 January 2026. https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=iccs2026 All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indexing services. The papers will contain linked references, XML versions, and citable DOI numbers. After the conference, selected papers will be invited for a special issue of the Journal of Computational Science (Impact Factor: 3.7; https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/journal-of-computational-science). The ICCS conference is the primary annual event in computational science. This interdisciplinary conference on modeling and simulation of real-world phenomena will attract academic and industry leaders from all relevant fields. ICCS intends to provide a forum to disseminate world-leading research in the field of (scientific) Computational Science and in particular to highlight the role which modelling and simulation plays in future scientific discovery. ICCS 2026 invites original contributions on all topics related to Computational Science, including, but not limited to: * Scientific Computing * Problem Solving Environments * Advanced Numerical Algorithms * Mixed-precision Modelling Algorithms * New Algorithmic Approaches to Computational Kernels and Applications * Web- and Grid-based Simulation and Computing * Parallel and Distributed Computing * Advanced Computing Architectures and New Programming Models * Extreme-Scale Data Management and I/O in Computational Science Applications * Complex Systems: Modeling and Simulation * Complex Networks Models and High Performance simulations * System Dynamics Models * Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Computing * Modelling Approaches using Unconventional Computing * Massive Agent Based models * Uncertainty Quantification * Approaches for Automated Simulation Development * Hybrid Computational Methods * Applications of Computation as a Scientific Paradigm * Visualization and Virtual Reality as Applied to Computational Science * Computational Physics * Large Scale Scientific Instruments * Quantum Computing * Medical and Biomedical Computational Science * Computational Humanities * Computational Sociology * Computational Models of Cognition and Behavior * Strategic Behavior Modeling and Market Design * Education in Computational Science As the conference theme this year is “At the Forefront of Science through Computation and Data”, papers highlighting the role of Computational Science in assisting multidisciplinary research are particularly welcome. ---------------------------------- Paper Types and Publications ---------------------------------- ICCS is co-organised with the Workshops on Computational Science (WCS), a set of thematic satellite events that focus on particular aspects of computational science. You can submit your paper to either the Main Conference or any of the Workshops via the same EasyChair link. You can also choose to submit a Full/Short Paper or an Abstract. For all the details on the differences between each submission type, please check: https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/call-for-papers/ Do also note that: * ICCS and WCS papers will be published in separate proceedings, that is, there will be a LNCS publication for the Main Conference, and a different LNCS publication for the Workshops. But both ICCS and WCS will be published by LNCS, and indexed in the same way. * The only difference between Full and Short Papers is the number of accepted pages. They are otherwise published and indexed in the exact same way. This year students can also enter their papers for the Student Competition. For more information, please read: https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/student-competition/ Papers of up to 15 pages, written in English and complying with the Springer LNCS format, should be submitted electronically through the EasyChair submission system: https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=iccs2026 Templates are available for download from EasyChair (see the "Submission Templates" link on the top right of the submission details webpage). Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper. The articles must be based on original unpublished work and must be submitted to ICCS only. ---------------------------------- Important Dates ---------------------------------- Paper submission deadline: 23 January 2026 Notification to authors: 23 March 2026 Camera-ready papers and registration: 10 April 2026 ---------------------------------- Keynote Speakers ---------------------------------- ICCS is well-known for its exciting keynote lectures. https://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2026/keynote-lectures/ Confirmed so far are: - Andrew Adamatzky, University of the West of England Bristol, UK - George Karniadakis, Brown University, USA - Amanda Randles, Duke University, USA - Christian Schroer, DESY | University of Hamburg, Germany ---------------------------------- Workshops ---------------------------------- ICCS regularly features 20+ Workshops encompassing the many facets of Computational Science.
