13–14 July 2026, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia CALL FOR PAPERS LCS2026 The 13th International Conference on Language, Communication & Society (LCS2026) in Kuala Lumpur invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit abstracts and papers on “Language, Identity, and Power in a Digitally Connected World.” This interdisciplinary conference explores the influence of digital platforms, AI, globalization, and migration on language and society, providing a platform for original research, published articles, dissertations, and research abstracts. Participants can present in person, engage in keynote lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, and connect with leading academics worldwide. Abstract submissions are open until 30 May 2026, making this an exceptional opportunity for global scholars to share insights and contribute to discussions on language, identity, and power. It invites interdisciplinary discussions on topics such as: DIGITAL COMMUNICATION AND LINGUISTIC INNOVATION LANGUAGE AND IDENTITY IN MULTICULTURAL CONTEXTS SOCIAL MEDIA AND LANGUAGE CHANGE COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AND INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE DISCOURSE ANALYSIS IN POLITICAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN THE DIGITAL AGE COMMUNICATION FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND INCLUSION LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY AND PRESERVATION ETHICAL CONCERNS IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATION AI AND MACHINE LEARNING IN LANGUAGE PROCESSING We welcome individual paper presentations, panel sessions, round table discussions, performances, short films and posters. Your participation in LCS2026 may be under the following categories (Original research paper, published article, short video, Dissertation/PhD thesis, Research abstract) Abstract submissions for LCS2026 are accepted while presenter slots are available or by 30 May 2026 at the latest. Each submission will be carefully reviewed, with acceptance or rejection determined based on multiple criteria.
