The International Conference on eDemocracy & eGovernment (ICEDEG'14) addresses the main issues of web-based knowledge management for society and science. It covers technical and non-technical aspects of eSociety, eGovernment, eHealth, and eEducation. Research papers as well as case studies are of interest in the following areas (but are not limited to):

eSociety and eGovernance: Public Websites, eAssistance, Mobile Services, Public Key Infrastructure, eEducation, eLearning.
eParticipation and eDemocracy: eCollaboration, eVoting, eElection, Public Memory, eCommunity.
eGovernment and eHealth: Health Portals, Demand and Disease Management, Home Care, Mobile Emergency, Tele-monitoring.

The scientific program consists of research papers, panels, and tutorials. In addition to the scientific program, an industrial track is planned to enforce the knowledge transfer between universities and industry in Latin America. The industrial track will provide a platform for posters, demonstrations, and case studies.
