The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) has the pleasure to invite researchers, academics and software developers in the field of informatics, computer science and its applications, to participate in the III International Scientific Conference UCIENCIA, to be held from September 24 to 26, 2018 in Havana, Cuba.

OBJECTIVES

To provide opportunities for the exchange of experiences, reflections and results of technical and scientific activity; R + D + i and education in the field of informatics and computer sciences.

To display the results of researches developed in these fields.

To promote cooperation between national and foreign institutions.

NORMS FOR THE PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION OF SUBMITTED PAPERS

The template to be used, both in Word and in Latex, can be downloaded from the official site of the conference https://uciencia.uci.cu https://eventos.uci.cu.

Papers will be checked by double blind reviewers.

The acceptance of papers will be subject to the evaluation of the Scientific Committee corresponding to each thematic workshop.

The papers accepted will be published in the Conference proceedings, and some will be selected for publication in the Cuban Journal of Computer Science (RCCi), http://rcci.uci.cu, indexed in SciELO.

LANGUAGES

•Spanish and English.

•May 15th, 2018 - Paper submission.
•July 5th, 2018 - Notification of Acceptance by the Scientific Committee.
•September 24th to 26th, 2018 - Conference.

REGISTRATION FEE

National participants: 200 CUP. It includes accommodation and meals during the days of the Conference; certificate of participation; accreditation module; publication in the Conference proceedings; welcome cocktail and farewell dinner.

Foreign participants: 200 CUC (170.00 EUR). It includes certificate of participation; accreditation module; publication in the Conference proceedings; lunch during the days of the Conference; welcome cocktail and farewell dinner.

PAYMENT METHODS

National participants: check or cash at the time of accreditation.

Foreign participants: transfer in EUR or cash in CUC at the time of accreditation.
