Call for Papers: Special Session on AI-Driven Quantum Simulation for Sustainable Engineering Systems
Part of the APSAC 2027 Conference Venue: [Insert Location/Web Link from APSAC Site] Submission Email: sarahbenziane1@gmail.com Aim and Scope This Special Session aims to bring together researchers at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Physics-based Simulation, and Sustainable Engineering. As quantum hardware matures and AI models grow increasingly capable of solving complex physical systems, this session explores how these paradigms converge to address real-world engineering and environmental challenges—from energy-efficient computing architectures to climate modeling and green industrial systems. We invite researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration around the most exciting developments in modern applied physics and computing. Topics of Interest Quantum machine learning for physics simulation and optimization. AI-assisted quantum circuit design and error mitigation. Hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for engineering problems. Edge AI and quantum-inspired computing for IoT and smart systems. Deep learning for climate modeling and environmental prediction. Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) in sustainable engineering. Quantum sensing and signal processing for environmental monitoring. Green computing: energy-efficient AI and hardware co-design. AI for smart grids, renewable energy forecasting, and demand optimization. Simulation of complex physical systems using generative AI models. Submission & Publication All accepted and presented papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and will be published in: AIP Proceedings or Springer Nature: Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) Indexing: Both are indexed in Scopus, ISI Web of Science (WoS), DBLP, EI-Compendex, Google Scholar, and SCImago. Special Session Benefits Discounted Publication Fee: €310 per paper (Regular papers are €620). Steering Committee Invite: Successful organizers and key contributors may be invited to the APSAC 2027 Steering Committee. Recognition: A certificate of recognition will be awarded for participating in this session. |
