Call For Papers

ISSRE has grown over the years to become a leading conference in the
areas of assessing, predicting, and improving reliability, safety, and
security of software and software-controlled systems. Workshops at ISSRE
provide forums for interaction and information sharing between
researchers and industrial practitioners. Workshops co-located with
ISSRE can follow different formats, ranging from traditional peer
reviewed papers to sessions that seek solutions to specific challenging
problems.

Organizers are expected to advertise the workshop, create and maintain
the workshop website, arrange for collection of submissions, referring
(if applicable) and paper selection, collection and delivery of camera
ready material and adequate copyright transfers. Workshop papers and
other written contributions will be included in the Supplemental ISSRE
Proceedings (ISSRE-W). Peer reviewed workshop papers will also appear in
the IEEE Xplore.

The ISSRE 2013 Organizing Committee invites workshop proposals on topics
related to any area of interest to the ISSRE community. Topics recent
from ISSRE workshops include:

- Software aging
- Safety critical software
- Embedded systems
- Requirements engineering
- Process models
- Software metrics

A workshop proposal should include the following information in a single
PDF document:

* Workshop title

* Description of the workshop, including motivation, focus areas, and
relevance to ISSRE.

* Names and contact information of the organizers, including brief
description of their past experience in organizing workshops and/or
conferences.

* Workshop duration (full day or half day).

* Workshop format, including but not limited to peer reviewed papers,
invited papers, discussion sessions, and panels.

* Approximate number of papers, invited talks, panels, and/or discussion
sessions.

* Tentative program committee if applicable and available.

* Whether the workshop is new or ongoing. For ongoing workshops provide
information on past editions, such as URLs, previous conference
co-locations, approximate attendance, etc.

Acceptance will be based on evaluation of the timeliness of the proposed
topic, expected interest in the topic, and proposers’ record in
organizing successful workshops/conferences.

Please submit workshop proposals by May 10th, 2013 to the ISSRE 2013
Workshops Chair Katerina Goseva-Popstojanova at
Katerina.Goseva@mail.wvu.edu. Workshop proposers will be notified of the
outcome by May 24th 2013.
