Call For Papers

We are pleased to announce the 1st International Electronic Conference on
Sensors and Applications, chaired by Dr. Francesco Ciucci, Dr. Dirk Lehmhus,
Dr. Stefano Mariani, Dr. Thomas B. Messervey and Dr. Alberto Vallan.

The conference will comprise of the following sections:
* Biosensors (Section A)
* Chemical Sensors (Section B)
* Physical Sensors (Section C)
* Sensor Networks (Section D)
* MEMS and NEMS (Section E)
* SMART Materials and Structures (Section F)
* Applications (Section G)

For the 1st International Electronic Conference on Sensors and Applications
(ECSA), we invite scholars from all over the world to present their current novel
ideas on multidisciplinary aspects of research and development of sensors and
their applications, including materials-related topics.

We are looking for experts and scholars who would like to share their
knowledge, expertise and the most recent advances by joining this conference
which is, itself, a novel way of exchanging ideas within our community.

The conference will be completely free of charge - both to attend, and for
scholars to upload and present their latest work on the conference platform.
There will also be a possibility to submit selected papers to the e-conference
related Special Issue of the journal Sensors, with a discount on the APC (ISSN
1424-8220; Impact Factor: 1.953 (2012); 5-Year Impact Factor: 2.395 (2012);
www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors).

ECSA offers you the opportunity to participate in this international, scholarly
conference without the concerns and expense of travelling - all you need is access
to the Internet. We would like to invite you to "attend" this conference by
presenting your latest work. You will be able to present your work in the form of
your proceedings paper, optionally you may also contribute a (video)
presentation. The conference offers the opportunity to exchange opinions and
views with the scholarly community and discuss the papers and latest research in
a discussion forum.

Abstracts (in English) should be submitted by 4 April 2014 online at
http://www.sciforum.net/conference/ecsa-1/call. For accepted abstracts, the full
paper needs to be submitted by 4 May 2014. The conference itself will be held
from 1-16 June 2014.

We hope you will be able to join this exciting event and participate in making it a
success.

The 1st International Electronic Conference on Sensors and Applications is
organized and sponsored by MDPI, a scholarly open access publisher
(http://www.mdpi.com/).
