About DIKI
Following the high success of DIKI 2013 (Jeju, Korea, the previous acronym title was 2013DIIK ), the 2rd International Workshop on Data-Intensive Knowledge and Intelligence (DIKI 2014) will be held in conjunction with the 9th FTRA International Conference on Future Information Technology (FutureTech2014).

Aims and Scope
This workshop aims to discuss key issues and practices on future information technology in Data-Intensive Intelligence and Knowledge. Recently, the next generation technologies of developing intelligence and knowledge, such as distributed and parallel computing, social computing, and cloud computing, are being discussed to support handling scientific data, medical records, business transactions, web logs and so on. This workshop will provide a cross-disciplinary forum for scientists, engineers, and computer users to share their experiences, new ideas, and research results in data-intensive knowledge and intelligence. In particular, we will discuss what the future information technology might be in the light of the recent wave of Big Data, Semantic Web, Social Computing and Knowledge Acquisition technologies. By bringing together representatives of academia and industry, the workshop is also a means for identifying new research problems and disseminating results of the research and practice.
