Scientists, Strategists, Researchers and practitioners are welcome to submit complete manuscripts or proposal for poster presentations to the Symposium. The contributions on application scenarios, use cases, and best practices; research with an empirical focus; as well as the inter-disciplinary work are especially encouraged. Submission could include, but are not limited to:

• Data-intensive cloud computing applications, characteristics, challenges

• Case studies of data intensive computing in the clouds

• Performance evaluation of data clouds, data grids, and data centers

• Energy-efficient data cloud design and management

• Data placement, scheduling, and interoperability in the clouds

• Accountability, QoS, and SLAs

• Data privacy and protection in a public cloud environment

• Distributed file systems for clouds

• New programming models for data-intensive cloud computing

• Scalability issues in clouds

Paper submission: October 30, 2014
Acceptance notification: November 10, 2014
Final papers due: November 25, 2014

Best Paper Awards

An award for best student paper submitted and presented will be given. The award will be presented during the closing ceremony of the symposium. The paper should be written by the student participant her/ himself for consideration of this award. The paper may include the names of the supervisor (s) or other co-authors, however any contribution to the paper by other researchers should be clearly specified at the time of submission.

Publication

All the accepted papers will be published in the International Journals with ISSN (refereed journal of international repute) after regular review.
