We invite participation in the 6th International Workshop on "Optimization for
Machine Learning", to be held as a part of the NIPS 2013 conference. This year, OPT is featuring the following plenary speakers:

- Peter Richtarik (Edinburgh)
- John Wright (Columbia)
- Adrian Lewis (Cornell)

In addition to these keynote talks, a large part of OPT is formed by
contributed talks and posters. We invite authors to submit not only
finished pieces of work, but also works currently in progress that
they would like to announce or receive feedback on. Details on the
submission process are available from the workshop homepage.

/NOTE/ OPT2013 does *not* prohibit dual submission, so if your primal venue is OK with it, feel free to submit to OPT2013.

/NOTE/ At least one author of each accepted paper must be available to present the paper at the workshop.

The broad topics are (please see webpage for more details):

* Stochastic, Parallel and Online Optimization
* Nonconvex Optimization
* Algorithms and Techniques (application oriented)
* Combinatorial Optimization
* Practical techniques, implementation
* Applications close to machine learning
* Advanced optimization techniques (core sets, manifolds, cones, polynomials etc.)
