It is our honour to welcome you to the 5th Iran Conference on Bioinformatics (ICB5) due to be presented by Iranian Bioinformatics Society (IBIS) and Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IBB) of University of Tehran on 20-22 April 2014 at the University of Tehran, Iran.
The main goal of the conference is to provide a gathering and platform for constructive discussion, exchange of information and technical knowledge between scientists, students and experts involved.
The major topics including Sequence Analysis and Comparative Genomics, Transcriptomics, Metabolomics and Proteomics, Metabolic and Regulatory networks, Systems Biology, Structural Bioinformatics, Bioimage Informatics, Biomathematics and Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, Computational Genomics, Next-Generation Sequencing and High-Throughput data analysis , Phylogenetics and Evolution, and Biomolecular Modeling using Structure Prediction, Docking, Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo Simulations, Computational Chemistry, Fragment-Based Drug Design and Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) approaches will be covered.
We hope the pleasant and dynamic atmosphere of the specialized round table meetings; lectures and workshops provide the basis for exchange of theoretical and practical information and gaining the knowledge and expertise of the participants.
