Special focus issues for 2014 include: “Automotive EOS / ESD” and “Foundry Support and CAD for ESD”

The ESD Association is now soliciting presentation abstracts for the 8th annual International Electrostatic Discharge Workshop (IEW). The Workshop will be held May 19-22, 2014 at the Grand Hotel de Paris in Villard de Lans, France.

The 8th annual workshop has added two special attention focus issues for IEW 2014 which include: “Automotive EOS / ESD” and “Foundry Support and CAD for ESD” In addition, submissions are encouraged in the following areas: Simulation Tools; ESD Test Characterization, Methods, and Issues; System-Level ESD Issues; Failure Analysis Techniques; Novel On-Chip Protection Clamps and Circuit Configurations; Anomalous ESD Issues, Technology Integration Issues; EDA Tools.

Abstracts for presentations should be two pages including figures and must clearly present the data and significance of the results. Abstracts should be emailed in pdf format to iew@esda.org, no later than Saturday, November 17th, 2013, and should include the title, author’s name and author’s affiliation. The technical program committee will announce the selections to authors on or before December 15th, 2013.
