The 2014 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2014) will be held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, September 14-18, 2014. The venue for IROS 2014 is the historic Palmer House Hilton, close by Millennium Park, Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, the Museum Campus, and other Chicago attractions. The program will integrate workshops and tutorials, plenaries, mini-plenaries, interactive sessions, exhibits, robot demonstrations, an industrial innovation showcase, and social activities for attendees and guests.

Papers
Authors should submit papers electronically in PDF format via PaperPlaza. Final papers are allowed six pages in standard IEEE formats, including figures. Up to two additional pages are allowed with an extra charge per page. Detailed instructions will be available on the website.

Workshops and Tutorials
Proposals for half-day or full-day workshops and tutorials are invited. Workshops and tutorials will be held on September 14 and 18, before and after the main contributed sessions. Proposals should be submitted via PaperPlaza and should include a title, abstract, names of the organizers, the intended audience, a list of speakers, a tentative schedule, and a plan for soliciting participation, as well as any relevant information about participation in past workshops and tutorials organized by the proposers on related topics. Exhibits
The exhibit hall in the Palmer House is directly adjacent to the main session rooms, allowing excellent flow between exhibits and sessions. Information on exhibiting at IROS 2014 will be available on the website.
