Globalization tends to be most perceptible and observable in almost every facet of life mainly due to the emergence of new digital technologies of computing and communications. At the same time, informatics with its strong focus on the human use of computing plays more and more serious role in people’s lives and permeates all its aspects.

The scope of 2012 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2012) is to provide an international forum for exchange of ideas among interested researchers, students, developers, and practitioners in the areas of computing, communications, and informatics. The technical program of the Conference will include tutorials, regular technical sessions, workshops, special sessions, demos and plenary/keynote speeches. The Conference Proceedings will be published by ACM and all the accepted papers of main track as well as workshops will be archived in the ACM digital library. Also, all the papers of the proceedings will be submitted to major database indexers for indexing.

The conference will be held at RMK Engineering College, Chennai (Madras), India.

ICACCI-2012 invites original and unpublished work from individuals active in the broad theme of the conference. Papers must be formatted according to ACM guidelines and style files to fit within 10 pages, including references, diagrams, and appendices if any. A submitted paper must be self-contained and in English.The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers.

All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. All accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library . Please note that at least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the Conference before the indicated deadline.

Authors of selected outstanding papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for consideration of publication in the following Journal(s):

Best Paper Awards
As evaluated by TPC Chairs and TPC Members, THREE papers will be given Best Paper Award for ICACCI-2012 viz 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The above committee will expect the presentation of the selected best papers during the conference before finalizing the list. The winners will be declared during the conference.
