Department of Mathematics (J. Karhumäki) and Steklov Insitute of Mathematics at St. Petersburg (Y. Matiyacevich) initiated last year a Russian-Finnish Symposium in Discrete Mathematics, RuFiDiM. The first edition was in St. Petersburg in September 2011, and the second one will be in Turku in September 2012.

Call for Papers

Participants are invited to submit extended abstracts or paper drafts (in English) to rufidim[at]utu[dot]fi (substitute [at] with @ and [dot] with . ) before June 30.

Topics of the symposium include:

* Combinatorics on Words,
* Graph Theory,
* Automata Theory,
* Tilings,
* Decidability Problems,

and related areas.

The only working language of the meeting is English.

A collection of presented papers will be printed and possibly there will be a special dedicated issue of a journal.
