Call For Papers

The African Journal of International Studies (AJIS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal. The journal is now inviting submissions for the first issue, which will be published on 05 March 2012. The central theme for this first issue is "Political Stability in Africa: Contemporary Challenges".

Scholars are invited to make submissions that are relevant to one or more of the following sub-themes:
 Resource management in Africa: Impact on political stability;
 Post-secession instability: Lessons from Sudan;
 Failing democracies? The prevalence of electoral violence in Africa;
 Democratisation in North Africa: Prospects and challenges;
 Towards stability in African politics: The role of the AU and regional groups;
 Africa and global economic uncertainty.

Interested scholars should email their manuscripts to publications@ypia.org.za. The deadline for submissions is 30 January 2012.
