Following the success of last year's SSPD 2010 Conference we are delighted to announce that the second Sensor Signal Processing for Defence (SSPD 2011) Conference will be held in London, United Kingdom on 28 - 29 September 2011 and is organised by the University Defence Research Centre (MOD-UDRC) in Signal Processing - funded by the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD). The purpose of the conference is to provide a public forum for researchers from academia, defence, government and industry to present, exchange ideas and discuss developments in multisensory signal processing.

Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Array Signal Processing,
• Image Processing
• Radar, Sonar and Audio Signal Processing
• Multimodal Signal Processing
• Signal Processing for Security
• Sensor Fusion
• Image and Video Classification
• Distributed Signal Processing for Wireless Sensor Networks
• Signal Processing for Communications

A number of outstanding keynote speakers in their scientific areas were invited to participate at this Conference.

Since this conference is financially sponsored by UK-MOD only a nominal fee (last year it was £50) will be charged for the conference registration that includes session participation, conference materials, coffee breaks and the conference dinner on 28 September 2010.


How to submit a paper:

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the EDAS system. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be indexed by Inspec database, IEEE/IEE Xplore and EI Compendex.
