COM.Geo conference is a leading-edge conference for computing for geospatial research and application. COM.Geo published submissions are read and cited worldwide. They have broad impact on the development of theory, method and practice in Computing for Geospatial fields. Authors must present accepted submissions at the COM.Geo conference. Accepted manuscripts appear in the COM.Geo Proceedings on Computing for Geospatial Research and Application, published by ACM, and in the ACM Digital Library.

Program
COM.Geo Conference provides diverse sessions for submitters to demonstrate their work. COM.Geo invites you to submit research or application papers, tech talks and/or posters, demo talks and/or posters, to organize special sessions, courses, panels, and workshops. This is a good opportunity to demonstrate your work at the conference. Suggested topics include all computing, geospatial, and related applications.


The explosion of computing driven geospatial based applications in the past few years has revolutionized the way we live and work. Computing technologies, such as visualization, cloud computing, mobile computing, business intelligence, spatial database server, and high-performance computing, play key roles in geospatial technologies and applications.
COM.Geo focuses on the latest computing technologies for multidisciplinary research and development that enables the exploration in geospatial areas. Innovative geospatial research and application technologies are the brightest spotlights at COM.Geo conference. COM.Geo is playing a guiding role to advancing the technologies in computing for geospatial fields.
COM.Geo conference is an exclusive event that builds a bridge between computing and geospatial areas. Papers
COM.Geo papers are read and cited worldwide. They have broad impact on the development of theory, method and practice in computing for geospatial fields. Accepted manuscripts appear in the COM.Geo Proceedings on Computing for Geospatial Research and Application, published by ACM, and in the ACM Digital Library for world distribution.
Papers will be peer-reviewed in a single-blind process and authors notified by e-mail (3-5 reviews for a full paper, 1-3 reviews for a short paper). Authors must present accepted papers at the COM.Geo conference.

Full Papers ( up to 10 pages, 20 minutes of complete presentation with 2-3 minutes Q&A)
Full Papers present significant contributions to research and practice in all aspects of Computing for Geospatial. These include mainly accomplished research and/or application results and have 8 pages at the maximum. They can be either research papers or application papers.

Short Papers (up to 6 pages, 15 minutes of presentation and Q&A)
Short Papers present brief and focused research contributions that are noteworthy but may not merit a full paper. These are mostly composed of short, narrowly-focused research or application papers. Besides, these can be fresh developments, latest-breaking research, non-traditional research, or "small research", i.e., some novel ideas and elegant research results that are perhaps too small for the heavyweight full research paper but that are nonetheless of significant use to practitioners.

Final camera-ready submissions in PDF should be up to 10 pages for Full Papers and 6 pages for Short Papers in length and adhere to the ACM style guidelines. Please see your acceptance notification email for detailed instructions about the procedure and timeline for the revision submission.
