25th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIME 2027)
July 5-8, 2027, Amsterdam, the Netherlands https://aime27.aimedicine.info/ Important Dates Abstract Submission Deadline: January 31, 2027 Full Paper Submission Deadline: February 7, 2027 Notification of Acceptance: April 19, 2027 Camera-Ready Papers Due: May 2, 2027 Deadlines are Anywhere on Earth AIME 2027 is a major forum for research on artificial intelligence in medicine that brings together researchers, clinicians, and technology experts to present new research and discuss advances in the field. The conference will be hosted in a beautiful historical building in the heart of Amsterdam. AIME 2027 invites submissions that introduce or examine innovative AI solutions for problems in medicine and healthcare. These submissions may include new methods or enhancements to existing ones. They should demonstrate their usefulness in addressing challenges in medicine and healthcare and highlight their contribution to the foundational theoretical knowledge. The scope of the conference includes, but is not limited to, the following two core areas: 1. AI Foundations and Methodological Innovations a. Learning Paradigms and Representational Advances: * Multimodal learning, generative AI, foundation models * Causal inference, reinforcement and transfer learning * Federated and privacy-preserving methods * Knowledge, Reasoning, and Semantic Integration: * Knowledge graphs, ontologies, terminologies * Symbolic reasoning, Bayesian networks, fuzzy logic * Data harmonization and integration of structured/unstructured data b. Language, Imaging, and Signal Intelligence: * Clinical NLP, summarization, and extraction * Biomedical imaging and signal processing * Multimodal fusion of text, vision, time series 2. Applications, Systems, and Health Impact a. Clinical AI and Decision Support Systems: * CDSS, triage tools, precision medicine * Practice guidelines and adaptive workflows * Agentic systems and innovative applications of large language models b. Deployment, Human-AI interaction and Training: * Smart hospitals, telemedicine, ambient intelligence * Human-AI collaboration, usability and workflow integration * Medical education and clinical training with AI * Patient-Centred and Population-Level Applications: * mHealth, wearables, digital interventions and therapeutics * Public health, epidemiology, equity * Personalized patient engagement and remote monitoring c. Omics and Computational Biology for Precision Health: * Multi-omics integration (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiome) and single-cell/spatial omics * Biomarker discovery, molecular subtyping, and patient stratification * Polygenic risk, variant interpretation, pharmacogenomics, and integration of omics with EHR, imaging, and clinical phenotypes d. AI-Driven Drug Discovery and Development: * Target identification, generative chemistry, and de novo drug design * Protein structure prediction, virtual screening, and ADMET/toxicity prediction * Drug repurposing, AI-enabled clinical trials, and pharmacovigilance 3. Cross-Cutting Themes (Applicable Across All Areas) a. Trustworthy AI: Explainability, fairness, bias mitigation, trust b. Ethics & Regulation: Legal frameworks, compliance, responsible innovation c. Safety & Evaluation: Deployment readiness, robustness, validation Paper Categories Full-length research papers (up to 10 pages, including references) Short papers (max 5 pages, including references), describing a short research project with preliminary results or late-breaking results (work-in-progress) Demo papers (max 5 pages, including references), describing a demonstration of implemented systems Student Travel Grants A limited number of student grants will be awarded in the form of discounts on the conference registration fee.
