Nowadays, mobile computing and ubiquitous networking are empowered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The special focus of ICMU includes advancing technologies for next-generation distributed computing and ubiquitous networking where humans, networked sensors, connected devices, and environments are involved. Examples of such technologies are Internet of Things (IoT), On-Device AI, Intent-Based Networking (IBN), human-centric sensing, energy-efficient mobile systems, social networking, machine-to-machine communications, mobile cloud computing, and mobile social Peer-to-Peer (P2P) services. Not only these topics but also fundamental algorithms and theories for mobile system privacy, security, reliability, and robustness are also topics of interest. Authors are invited to submit their research contributions addressing the topics in mobile and pervasive computing and ubiquitous networking. The topics include, but are not limited to: * Artificial Intelligence for Networking and Mobile Computing * Machine Learning for Networking and Mobile Computing * Intent-Based Networking (IBN) * Wireless Access Technologies * Networked Sensing and Applications * Mobile Device Architectures * Mobile Systems and Applications * Mobile Data Management and Analytics * Mobile Multimedia * Mobile User Interfaces and Interaction Technologies * Mobile User Experience * Toolkit and Languages for Mobile Computing * Energy-Aware Mobile Computing * Mobile Cloud Computing * Semantic Web Technologies * Localization and Tracking * Internet of Things (IoT) * On-Device AI Systems and Applications * Crowdsourcing * Participatory Sensing * Social Network Applications to Mobile Computing * Wearable Computing * Context-and-Location-Aware Applications and Services * Body Area Networks * Trust, Security, and Privacy * Cloud Computing and Edge Computing *** SUBMISSION *** Submissions will be evaluated based on their relevance to the conference topics, originality, technical quality, significance of contributions, and clarity of presentation. Papers are expected to include evaluations that effectively illustrate the authors' contributions. All accepted full papers need to have a full registration to the conference. Submissions are now open through EDAS. Submission link: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=35614 *** SUBMISSION GUIDELINES *** Submitted manuscripts must be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and must be submitted through EDAS as PDF files formatted for A4-size paper. The manuscripts should be no longer than 6 pages. Up to 2 additional pages are allowed with an extra fee. Submission guidelines: https://www.icmu.org/icmu2027/?submission ICMU2027 uses a double-blind review process, which means submissions must not include authors' identities. Authors must make an effort to honor the double-blind reviewing process and remove information that could reveal their identities. *** POSTERS AND DEMOS *** ICMU2027 also welcomes poster and demonstration submissions in the areas of mobile computing and ubiquitous networking. * Submission Deadline: July 11, 2027 * Acceptance Notification: July 18, 2027 Detailed submission guidelines for posters and demos will be announced on the conference website. *** ORGANIZING COMMITTEE *** * General Chairs Masaki Suzuki (KDDI, Japan) Wen-Huang Cheng (National Taiwan University, Taiwan) Yung-Yao Chen (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan) * TPC Chairs Yusuke Fukazawa (Sophia University, Japan) Keiichi Ochiai (Yokohama City University, Japan) Ling Lo (National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan) * Financial Chairs Tatsuya Amano (Osaka University, Japan) Yasutaka Nishimura (KDDI, Japan) * Poster/Demo Chairs Yuusuke Kawakita (Kanagawa Institute of Technology, Japan) Hiroki Watanabe (Future University Hakodate, Japan) Tzung-Shi Chen (National University of Tainan, Taiwan) * Local Arrangement Chairs Masayuki Kurata (KDDI, Japan) Hsin-Chun Lin (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan) * Publication Chairs Masahiro Suzuki (SONY, Japan) Takuya Kitade (NTT DOCOMO, Inc., Japan) Sin-Ye Jhong (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan) * Registration Chairs Yoshitaka Nakamura (Kyoto Tachibana University, Japan) Chun-Chih Chiu (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan) * Award Chairs Takeshi Kamiyama (Nagasaki University, Japan) Kai-Lung Hua (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan) * Publicity Chairs Tatsuhito Hasegawa (Fukui University, Japan) Wen-Hwa Liao (National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan) Jaehoon (Paul) Jeong (Sungkyunkwan University, Korea) * Web Chair Teruhiro Mizumoto (Chiba Institute of Technology, Japan) *** STEERING COMMITTEE *** Tadanori Mizuno (Aichi Institute of Technology, Japan) Takashi Watanabe (Osaka University, Japan) Hiroshi Inamura (Future University Hakodate, Japan) Nobuo Kawaguchi (Nagoya University, Japan) Ken Ohta (Miyagi University, Japan) Hirozumi Yamaguchi (Osaka University, Japan) *** SPONSORS *** * Endorsed and organized by Information Processing Society Japan (IPSJ) SIG-MBL * Technically Co-Sponsored by IEEE Computer Society * Supported by IEEE TCS, IPSJ SIG-DPS, SIG-UBI, SIG-CDS, and SIG-ITS *** Contact *** E-mail: icmu2027-contact@icmu.org ********************************************************************** |
