It is our great pleasure to invite you to HCist'2012 - International Conference on Health and Social Care Information Systems and Technologies - leveraging health and social care through people, processes and information systems, to be held in Algarve, Portugal, from 3 to 5 October, 2012.

This conference intends to attract original and relevant contributions on the technological, organizational and management dimensions of the largely multidisciplinary field of Health and Social Care Information Systems and Technologies.

Submission Procedure:

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their papers electronically until April 14, 2012. Just click the Submit a paper option in the author's left menu, and you'll be redirected to the HCist'2012 OpenConf management system.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by a double-blind paper evaluation method, so please be sure to provide your paper without any references to any of the authors. Please remove any authors personal details, acknowledgements sections and any (auto)reference that may disclose the authors identity. Authors will be notified by email of the review process results by May 28, 2012.

Authors of accepted papers will receive recommendations to revise their papers according to the reviewers’ comments, and should submit the revised version until June 22, 2012.

Paper templates and guidelines:

Papers must be written in English. Each paper should not exceed 10 pages considering the MSWord and Latex templates available for download here.
