Currently at its twentieth edition, SEBD is the major annual event of the Italian research community
in the database field. The symposium is thought of as a gathering forum to meet, discuss and
exchange experience among all those who, both in the academy and industry, who are interested in
database theory and systems, and in all their broad range of applications.

The 2012 edition of the SEBD Symposium will take place in Venice, Italy,
from June 24th to June 27th, 2012.

Papers should be submitted in PDF format at:

Accepted papers and extended abstracts will be published in the proceedings of the symposium with
ISBN.

At SEBD 2012 we plan to continue the Poster Track introduced at SEBD 2011. Regardless of their
original form (full paper or extended abstract), some of the submissions might be accepted as a
poster paper. The main difference between regular and poster papers will be in the way they will be
presented at the conference. While regular papers will be assigned individual time-slots in the
conference program, poster papers will be presented during dedicated sessions.
