About the Journal

The Journal of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony (JWRIH) is an open-access, trilingual, double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to fostering scholarly dialogue, mutual understanding, and interfaith harmony. JWRIH offers a premier platform for academic researchers, theologians, philosophers, and humanists worldwide to publish original, problem-oriented research that contributes to the evolution of the humanities.

We invite scholars, faculty members, researchers, and doctoral candidates to submit original research articles for our upcoming Fall 2026 Issue.

JWRIH welcomes original research papers on a wide range of religious, philosophical, and theological topics, including but not limited to:
Interfaith Harmony & Dialogue (Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Confucians, Hindus, and other religious denominations)

Philosophy of Religion & Theological Studies
Ilm ul-Kalam (Islamic Systematic Theology)

Submission Guidelines

Language: Submissions are accepted in English, Arabic, or Urdu.
Originality: Articles must be unpublished, problem-oriented, and present novel research findings.
Peer Review: All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
Format: Articles should strictly adhere to the journal’s formatting and referencing style (Chicago 17th foothnote edition).
Length: Recommended length is typically between 5,000 to 8,000 words (including abstract, footnotes, and references).

Submission Deadline: 31 August 2026 for Fall Issue (February 2027 for Spring Issue)

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan, originally established as Jamia Abbasia in 1925 by His Highness Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V, upgraded to Jamia Islamia in 1963, and chartered as a public sector university in 1975.
