Confluence Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access publication that seeks to promote cross-disciplinary dialogue in the humanities and social sciences. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, Language and Linguistics, Literature, Culture and Cultural Studies, Translation Studies, Media Studies, Pedagogy, Digital Technologies, and e-Learning. One of the journal’s founding motivations is to address the current gap in Morocco for an academic journal published exclusively in English, providing a much-needed platform for scholars in the region to engage with global academic conversations.

Confluence is the fruit of the collective efforts of faculty members from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Morocco, who are committed to advancing scholarly communication and international research collaboration. The journal is also referenced by the Centre National pour la Recherche Scientifique et Technique (CNRST), reinforcing its recognition and integration within Morocco’s national research infrastructure.

Confluence is supported by a diverse editorial board composed of scholars affiliated with institutions across multiple continents, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive and wide-ranging scholarly exchange. As a biannual publication, the journal will also feature special issues that address timely themes and regional academic interests.
