The conference provides a premier forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest advances in IoT research and development. IEEE iThings 2026 is co-located with four other IEEE conferences (Blockchain, CPSCom, SmartData, GreenCom) as part of the 2026 IEEE Cybermatics Congress. *********************** TOPICS OF INTEREST ****************** Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Track 1: IoT Enabling Technologies - Actuator and control technologies, Low power and energy harvesting - Real-time systems, Streaming and data processing for IoT - IoT big data analytics, Cloud/fog/edge computing for IoT - Embedded middleware design Track 2: IoT Services and Intelligence - Big Data platforms and management for IoT - Federated and decentralized learning for IoT - Foundation models and edge AI for IoT - IoT security, privacy and trust Track 3: IoT Networks and Communications - Wireless communication protocols - 5G, Beyond-5G, and 6G networks - Self-organizing networks, Network programmability and softwarization Track 4: IoT Systems and Applications - Industrial, Agriculture, Transportation, Healthcare, Energy IoT - Supply Chain for IoT, IoT-based business systems - Research infrastructure and testbeds for IoT ************************ IMPORTANT DATES ******************* Paper submission deadline: June 15, 2026 Notification of acceptance: September 1, 2026 Registration due: October 1, 2026 Conference dates: November 30 - December 4, 2026 *********************** SUBMISSION GUIDELINES *************** All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS in PDF format. Submissions must follow the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings manuscript style. - Regular full paper: up to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over-length charge) - Short paper: up to 6 pages (or 8 pages with over-length charge) Page limits include all content, figures, tables, and references. Papers must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review elsewhere. *********************** PUBLICATION *************** Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and present their work at the conference; otherwise, the paper will not be included in the proceedings. All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and EI.
