Call for Papers — Curatone Art & Research Journal (ISSN 3054-6621)
Curatone Art & Research Journal invites submissions of research articles and visual essays on contemporary visual art, design, and curatorial practice. We welcome contributions from artists, researchers, curators, and art educators worldwide. Topics include but are not limited to: contemporary art practice and theory, visual culture and design research, curatorial studies and exhibition practice, art education and pedagogy, digital art and new media, cross-cultural perspectives in visual arts. Submission types: — Research articles (2,000–5,000 words) — Visual essays (800–2,000 words + images of original artwork) — Exhibition reviews (1,000–2,000 words) All submissions undergo peer review by our international Editorial Board. Published authors receive an official Letter of Publication with ISSN reference, suitable for academic portfolios, grant applications, and professional credentials. No submission fee for this call. Our Editorial Board includes award-winning artists, curators, and art directors from the US, Europe, and Asia. We welcome applications from artists, curators, art educators, and researchers with professional experience or an advanced degree (MFA, MA, PhD) in visual arts, design, art history, or related fields. Peer reviewers evaluate 2–3 articles per year using a structured review form (approximately 15–20 minutes per review). Reviewers receive: an official Peer Reviewer Certificate with ISSN reference, listing on our Reviewers page at curatone.art, and a Letter of Service upon request.
