Conference dates: 27–29 July 2026 Submission deadline (Extended Abstract / Full Paper): 1 June 2026 Website: https://www.icses-a-etltc.net/ About the Conference The 3rd International Conference on Social Sciences Research in the Age of AI (SSRAAI2026) invites scholars, practitioners, and researchers to submit original work examining how AI is reshaping social science research, institutions, governance, and society, as well as how social science methods and theory can better understand and guide AI’s development and impacts. SSRAAI2026 is part of the ETLTC 2026 Conference Series and will be hosted remotely from the University of Aizu, Japan, from 27–29 July 2026. Mode of Conference Online mode (Zoom) for all participants The conference team is also exploring the possibility of 27 July 2026 as an optional on-site day at the University of Aizu, subject to sufficient interest. 28–29 July 2026 will be online. Any on-site presentations (if held) will be live-streamed via Zoom to ensure full remote participation. Submission Categories Authors may submit either: Extended Abstract (approx. 500–800 words), or Full Paper by 1 June 2026 Publication Opportunity (Scopus-indexed proceedings pathway) Selected high-quality papers presented at the conference may be considered for publication in MDPI Engineering Proceedings, which is indexed in Scopus, subject to submission of a full manuscript in accordance with publisher and conference requirements, and editorial evaluation. Important: Publication decisions are made by the conference editors and are based on quality, fit with the proceedings scope, and language/clarity. Only papers with a clear technology focus (with or without a social science framing) will be considered for the Scopus-indexed proceedings pathway. The best papers will be shortlisted by a panel of judges, and invited to proceed for publication consideration.
