EIA Nordic 2026 – Nordic Energy Informatics Academy Conference 2026
August 10–12, 2026 | University of Iceland, Reykjavik The Nordic Energy Informatics Academy Conference 2026 (EIA Nordic 2026) invites high-quality research papers, innovative solutions, and real-world case studies from academia and industry in the field of Energy Informatics. EIA Nordic 2026 serves as an international forum at the intersection of energy systems and informatics, with a strong emphasis on data-driven methods, digital solutions, and practical applications supporting energy transitions. The conference brings together global and Nordic stakeholders to address technological, system-level, and policy challenges shaping future energy systems. A dedicated Nordic Track highlights region-specific innovations, policies, and business models driving sustainable energy solutions in the Nordic countries. The conference is organized in cooperation with the EIA Nordic Summer School on Energy Community and Distributed Energy Resources 2026 (13–14 August 2026). Topics of Interest (include, but are not limited to): - Smart grids and distributed energy resources - District heating and cooling systems - Electric mobility and transport electrification - Energy-efficient buildings and industrial efficiency - Energy markets, policy, and regulation - Sector coupling and integrated energy systems - Big data, AI, IoT, cloud computing, and digital twins - Cybersecurity for energy infrastructure - Energy economics, finance, and business models Submission Categories: - Long papers: 12–15 pages (excluding references) - Short papers: 6–12 pages (including references) - Abstracts: up to 250 words All long and short papers will undergo rigorous peer review by at least three expert reviewers. Abstracts are reviewed by the Program Chairs. Publication: Accepted and presented long and short papers will be published in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). Important Dates: - Paper submission deadline: 31 March 2026 - Notification of acceptance: 15 May 2026 - Camera-ready papers: 15 June 2026 - Registration deadline: 22 June 2026 Conference dates: 10–12 August 2026 Fees: Thanks to sponsorship from Nordic Energy Research, conference participation is free of charge for admitted long and short paper presenters from Nordic universities and research institutes (one paper per eligible presenter).
