The International Conference on Systems Engineering (JINIS) has been held for 30 years at the Catholic University of Santa María. Its first edition was held in 1992, and it has continued year after year. JINIS has managed to bring together scientists, researchers and businessmen in the area in each of its editions.

In addition, it has had high-level foreign and national speakers from different countries. Students from the Professional School of Systems Engineering (EPIS) update their knowledge in the different areas of study by presenting the projects developed in their career.

The objective of the event is to bring together the academic community (students, graduates, bachelors, researchers and interested professionals) in the scientific and technological dissemination in the area, providing a space for the discussion of related topics.
