Dear Colleague,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit a scientific paper to the 6th International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing (ISM 2024), a yearly open forum fostering the smart culture and exploring the transformative impact of digital technologies characterizing the 4th industrial revolution across the full breadth of economic sectors.

Last year, we've had the pleasure of hearing the contribution of 400+ authoritative voices from the broad field of Industry 4.0 (participating either in-presence and online) presenting 323 accepted scientific papers from 50+ Countries, peer-reviewed by 150+ members of the international scientific committee from 30+ Countries, outstanding keynote talks from Prof. Dimitris Mourtizis , Telmo G. Santos, and presentations of R&D projects being conducted worldwide to achieve the vision of Smart Factories and a Smart Society. The conference was also the location of 20+ meetings with 40+ participants from 18 Countries in the B2B/B2S (Business to Business/Business to Science) Brokerage Event bringing research and science closer to the business and real-world industry as well as an International Doctoral Workshop.

Proceedings, Indexing and Post-conference Publication
ISM proceedings are published in Elsevier Procedia Computer Science, which is Open Access, available on ScienceDirect and indexed on SCOPUS. Check the published proceedings at https://www.msc-les.org/ism/. Post-conference publication opportunities on top-ranked international journals, such as Computers and Industrial Engineering, IET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing, Applied Sciences and others are also available for the authors of the best papers.

Topics, Tracks & Invited Sessions
Authors are invited to submit a regular or short paper (4-10 pages) on the following topics. Nevertheless, papers dealing with other Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing topics are also welcome.

International Doctoral Workshop
The International Doctoral Workshop @ISM aims to provide PhD students and PhD candidates in subjects falling under the umbrella of Industry 4.0 at any stage of their doctoral studies an opportunity to present their research projects, get in touch with the Industry 4.0 community and improve their technical/soft skills in an informal atmosphere.
