Textbooks and websites are not to be cited often and do not count toward the number of references needed for a technical paper. Excessive self-citation should be avoided to ensure objectivity, with only one or two self-citations to be allowed. High-quality event papers will be selected for the SAE International Journal of Advances and Current Practices in Mobility (publishing the top papers of each event) after the event, and authors will be informed by email if selected.
