We cordially invite you to present your research at the 22nd Applied Statistics 2026 (AS 2026) international conference. The AS 2026 is organized by the Statistical Society of Slovenia and will be hosted by the University of Primorska in Koper/Capodistria, Slovenia.

Scope and Objectives: The AS conference brings together researchers and practitioners worldwide working in various fields of data analysis, data science, and statistics. It provides a platform to present cutting-edge research and foster knowledge exchange.

The scientific program of AS 2026 includes invited talks, as well as oral and poster presentations of accepted abstracts. The two-day main conference (Monday and Tuesday) will be followed by a workshop day on Wednesday.

Conference Topics: AS 2026 invites 300-word abstracts for oral or poster presentations on topics related to applied statistics in the broadest sense, including (but not limited to):

- Artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Biostatistics
- Data science and data mining
- Econometrics
- High-performance computing in statistical applications
- Mathematical statistics
- Measurement
- Modeling and simulation
- Network science, social networks, collective intelligence
- Sampling methods
- Social science methodology
- Training in statistics

In addition to new or improved statistical methods, cross-disciplinary and applied research contributions are especially welcome. Submitted abstracts will be judged on their scientific strength, clarity, and potential impact. Selected presentations will be invited for publication in a special issue of the journal Advances in Methodology and Statistics (https://mz.mf.uni-lj.si).
