The 6th Annual FHE.org Conference on Fully Homomorphic Encryption is co-located with Real World Crypto 2027 in Seattle, Washington, on April 4th 2027.

-- Motivation and scope --

The FHE.org conference is the premier forum gathering researchers, technologists and practitioners working on the design, development, deployment, validation, and application of fully homomorphic encryption (FHE).

Nearly two decades have passed since Gentry's 2009 construction showed that FHE was possible, transforming a thirty-year open problem into a living research field. The years since have delivered orders-of-magnitude improvements in performance, a rich family of schemes suited to different computational models, and a growing ecosystem of open-source libraries, compilers, and hardware accelerators. That research momentum continues today, with a rich future of exploration and transition to practice.

As for previous editions, FHE.org 2027 welcomes talks and posters that advance the theoretical and algorithmic foundations of the field. This could include, for example, novel algorithms for faster homomorphic evaluation; cryptanalysis, attacks and countermeasures; precision, accuracy and noise analysis; or security notions for FHE.

This year, however, we place particular emphasis on the transition from possibility to practice. Governments and industry are moving FHE out of the laboratory and into procurement decisions, pilot deployments, and standards processes. This shift raises questions the FHE.org community is uniquely positioned to answer, including:

* What are the emerging industry-relevant and industry-scale use cases for FHE?
* What does production readiness mean for encrypted computation?
* How do we transform FHE from a domain where only a few hundred experts worldwide can write and debug real applications to an everyday programming domain accessible to the 40 million or so programmers in the world?
* How do we benchmark and compare real FHE systems?
* How do we pragmatically deploy the acceleration needed to make FHE fast enough for a first generation of deployed applications?
* Where do deployments succeed, and where and why do they stall?
* What are the remaining gaps in FHE as a full solution within a privacy-preserving system, and how do we practically address them?

The 2027 FHE.org Program Committee is particularly seeking talks and posters that speak to these questions. The [FHE.org](http://fhe.org) 2027 conference will emphasise FHE as an engineering discipline and a deployable technology, alongside the foundational work that continues to expand what is possible.

-- Call for contributed talks and posters --

Authors are invited to submit proposals for presentation as a talk or poster using the submission form located at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fheorg2027.

Submissions must be in PDF format and written in English and should be in the form of an extended abstract of 2 to 4 pages (not including references). Whether the proposal is for a talk or poster should be clearly indicated in the submission. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the contribution in person at the conference venue. Every year, we receive many proposals for presentations of great quality, and it is not always possible to accept all of them as talks. A submission for a talk may instead be accepted as a poster.

FHE.org follows the spirit of the Real World Cryptography conference, and so submissions are single-blind. All submissions will be refereed by the program committee who will be asked to consider both (1) the relevance of the submission to the goals of the conference and (2), in the case of a talk proposal, the quality of the presentation. For a proposal for a talk, the author who will present the talk should be identified.

The final program will consist of invited talks, contributed talks, and a poster session. There are no published proceedings at FHE.org. This means that both invited and contributed talks may appear at other conferences with proceedings. Authors of accepted abstracts can choose to have a link to a preprint on the conference webpage.
