REMOTE PARTICIPATION: Due to COVID, we have decided that virtual participation will be possible
even if the conference will (also) be held physically. There is no charge on registration fees.

Accepted papers will be presented in the conference. For each accepted paper, at least one author is expected/required to attend the conference (free of charge) and present the paper. Papers will be published as chapters in a Taylor & Francis book titled "Recent Advances in AI-enabled Automated Medical Diagnosis". Authors who intend to publish their papers in Sensors as well will be invited to submit an extended version of their papers to a Special Issue in Sensors (Impact Factor: 3.576).

Intelligence for Medical Applications (AI4MED 2021), which will take place in Newcastle upon
Tyne, UK on 22 - 24 Sept, 2021.

Recently accompanying the advancement of machine learning especially deep learning, AI-assisted
medical applications have entered into a new era with exciting progress on human wellbeing. It
is an amazing golden age for the interface researchers involved in the development and applications
of advanced machine learning techniques to solving long-standing medical and clinical problems with
the merits of powerful AI techniques. This symposium aims to capture the most recent important
advances in this cross-disciplinary topic and expose the interesting topics to wide audience across
the world by inspiring each other and promoting research collaboration via this communication platform
for multiple parties including academic scientists, industry researchers, early career researchers,
research students, industry developers, medical services, etc...
