Industry 4.0, which is also known as intelligent industry, is the fourth industrial revolution (IR 4.0) and the trend toward smart automation in industrial technologies enabled by machine learning, and data analytics. Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University takes an initiative to host CMM 2020 to stimulate scientific exchange, and to promote sustainable development, international networking, and participation in the context of industrial revolution in computing, mobility, and manufacturing.

This initiative aims to encourage interactions between scientists and industrialists across several disciplines that will lead to new scientific investigations, shape future directions for strategic research, and help industrial users apply advanced computer techniques for solving industrial problems. Another target of the conference is to provide opportunities for industry practitioners and research students to present latest results of their projects and establish links with experts across several scientific disciplines.

To ensure the significance of this event, world-renowned scientists from several continents have accepted the invitation to present their research breakthroughs and future pursuits. In addition, the First Saudi Aramco-PMU International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in the Middle East (07 December 2020) will be held as a satellite event of CMM 2020.

Topics of interest are divided into three tracks: Computing, Mobility, and Manufacturing (see Call for Papers for details). Accepted papers will be published in the ACM conference proceeding, which is archived in the ACM Digital Library, indexed by Ei Compendex, and Scopus, and submitted to be reviewed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science). All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee. Authors of high-quality papers presented at the conference will be invited to extend their research findings for publications in special issues of some journals (pending final approval) indexed in ISI Science Citation Index, Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed.
