Call For Papers

The 49th International Semiconductor Conference – CAS 2026, an IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) event, invites you to join a premier scientific event in Sinaia, Romania, October 14 - 17, 2026.
The conference serves as a comprehensive platform for scientific exchange and networking for leading scientists, industry experts, and students, to share cutting-edge research in nanoscience, semiconductor physics, and micro-nanotechnologies.
The CAS 2026 edition will comprise an exciting scientific programme with remarkable plenary speakers, oral and poster presentations, including special sessions for student papers, supplemented with a series of stimulating workshops.
The event annually attracts around 200 participants, who enjoy a comprehensive technical and social program, share practical experiences, discuss current challenges and find the right solutions in emerging areas of micro- and nanotechnologies.
Authors are invited to submit original papers on the following TOPICS:
- Nanoscience and nanoengineering
- Micro- and nanophotonics and optoelectronics
- Microwave and millimeter wave circuits and systems
- Microsensors and microsystems
- Modelling
- Semiconductor devices
- Integrated circuits

Regular papers submission: May 25, 2026
Notification of papers acceptance: June 24, 2026
Final submission of accepted papers: July 3, 2026
The accepted papers (4 pages) at CAS conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings and will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore database subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. CAS Proceedings volumes are available in IEEE Xplore database and Web of Science.
