The 2011 IEEE GCC Conference and Exhibition is the 6th in a series and will be held during 19–22 February, 2011 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The conference will provide a forum for professional engineers, scientists and academics engaged in research and development to convene and present their latest scholarly work and applications in industry. It will also provide engineers with an opportunity to interact and share their experiences in technology applications. New developments in industry and their benefits to the GCC countries will be highlighted. The conference will run for four days and will be accompanied by a comprehensive industrial exhibition. Diverse tutorial sessions will be held on the first day of the conference.

SCOPE
Papers are invited in all areas of electrical and electronic engineering with a focus on the following technical and application areas:
•Power and Energy
•Control
•Computing and IT
•Communications
•Electronics
•Signal Processing
•Engineering Education
•Industrial Technology Applications

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers based on their original work not exceeding 4 pages in length for full papers and 2 pages for industrial technology papers using the format provided on the conference website. We also encourage submissions of proposals for tutorials and special sessions. Details on the submission procedure are available on the main conference website:

If you face difficulties accessing the conference website, you may upload your paper directly through the EDAS system at: http://edas.info/N8950. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be available during the conference. During the closing ceremony, best paper awards will be presented in three categories: Student, Academia, and Industry. Full papers will also be published in the IEEE Xplore.
