This panel welcomes papers on representations of power and authority in Italian and/or Spanish cinema. Of special interest are papers that interpret the role of aesthetical and/or technical practice that help portray hierarchical and symbolic relationships of power and authority. 200-word abstracts may be submitted in English, Italian, and Spanish by June 13th, 2019, to Ivano Fulgaro, The University of Alabama, at ifulgaro@crimson.ua.edu.
