Second Announcement and Call for Paper

The 2nd annual Power Electronics, Drive Systems and Technologies Conference (PEDSTC) will be organized to invite international delegates, researchers and practitioners in the field of power electronics and drive systems in order to exchange and/or share their latest research findings.

The PEDSTC will be held in February 2011 at the University of Tehran, being supported by the Power Electronics Society of Iran. The conference is also technically sponsored by the IEEE-Iran section, Iranian Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IAEEE) and IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES). Accepted papers will be appeared in the IEEE- Xplore database system.

Papers describing original, previously unpublished research work, experimental efforts, practical experiences as well as industrial and commercial developments in Power Electronics and Drives are solicited. Particular topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Design, analysis, modelling and control of power electronic systems, power converters, motor drives and motion control systems, telecommunication power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, pulsed power supplies, semiconductor devices and technologies, energy storage elements, power quality and utility interface issues, Electric Machines, aerospace power applications, distributed generation and renewable energy systems, EMI/EMC issues and all other aspects of the related field.

Decision Notification: 22 December 2010
Final Paper Submission: 5 January 2011
