Call For Papers

In the present era of interdisciplinary research Signal Processing (SP) is a dynamic and a growing discipline. The type of “signals” in SP is very broad: audio, music, speech, language, text, image, graphics, video, sensor measurement, communication, geophysical, sonar, radar, biological, chemical, molecular, genomic, medical data, etc. SP is the brain inside many of the gadgets we all love and use every day. These gadgets include hearing aids, noise cancelling headphones, smart phones, magnetic resonance imaging machines, computer tomography scanners, digital T.V, video games, digital telephony, cell phones, tablet computers, music players, and many more. SP algorithms provide the necessary intelligence to these gadgets for their functioning. SP is omnipresent although hidden in humans, implants, wearable, hardware and software. Various domain specific future problems such as preventive healthcare, protection of the environment, and safety in public spaces have in common the daunting problem of sampling, sensing, communicating, navigating, visualizing, and interpreting vast amount of data.

In the forthcoming “Era of Big Data” a deluge of data has been predicted. The
needs to analyze, interpret, and extract information and knowledge from the data guarantees a great future of interesting research problems in SP. This workshop is intended to help familiarize the participants with the expansion in the traditional concepts of both “Signal” and “Processing”. Information on present state-of-the-art and the potential research problems in several SP domains will be shared by senior, learned & seasoned researchers and practitioners of SP.

Following eminent Academicians and Industry experts will interact with the participants:
