Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation and Metaheuristics (AIECM)
--In the footsteps of Alan Turing (Turing 2012)

Alan Turing pioneered many research areas from artificial intelligence
to computability, from cryptography to heuristics and from Fabonacci
phyllotaxis to pattern formation. He had worked in many prestigious
institutions, including Cambridge University, National Physical Laboratory,
and Manchester University. 2012 is the Alan Turing year -- a centenary
celebration of the life and work of Alan Turing.

We will use this opportunity to edit a book to review the latest advances
and development in Alan Turing's following research areas (but not limited):

* Computability
* Cryptography
* Artificial intelligence
* Turing machine
* Machine learning
* Neural networks
* Genetic algorithms
* Heuristic and metaheuristics
* Reaction-diffusion systems
* Pattern formation

The book will be published by Springer in June 2012.

Interested authors who wish to contribute a book chapter, please
submit the tentative title/abstracts via EasyChair by 30 Nov 2011,
and full manuscript by 25 Jan 2012. Full manuscript should be prepared
using Springer's LNCS LaTex style (or Doc style, though LaTex is preferred).
