The Data Mining and Optimization Research Group of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is pleased to anounce theThird Seminar on Data Mining and Optimization 2011 (DMO’11) which will be held from 28 - 29 June 2011 in Kuala Lumpur.

This seminar is an annual special focus seminar intended to gather researchers working in the areas of data mining, optimization and optimization in data mining to share their experience and exchange ideas.

DMO'11 offers a 2 days focus conference on Data Mining & Optimization field, and keynote speeches by Prof Jon Timmis

We invite submissions of papers presenting a high-quality original research and development for the conference tracks 1) Data mining and 2) Optimization.

Topics of interest encompass all aspects of Data Mining and Optimization. These include all aspects of Data Mining tasks, techniques and application. (see [topics] for details)

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper of 4~7 pages (PDF). Authors must follow the double columns IEEE format. The language of the Seminar is English. The refereed Proceedings of DMO'08 under an ISBN reference will include all papers accepted for the seminar.


Journal

Selected authors will receive an invitation for submitting an extended version to be published in the International Journal of Advances in Soft Computing and Its Applications, This journal is under the patronage of International Journal of Open Problems in Computer Science and Mathematics (IJOPCM) ). Only papers that will be submitted in an extended form and clearly presenting an enhanced version will be considered. Reference to the original paper published in a conference is mandatory. A new review round will be performed, under the control of the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
