SIMBig is one of the first conferences in Latin America grouping related areas such as Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Semantic Web, Software Engineering, Privacy, etc.

PUBLICATION

All papers of SIMBig 2018 will be published with Springer CCSI series (Communications in Computer and Information Science). The best papers submitted to SIMBig2018 will be invited to submit an extended and revised version in one of the following two journals:

• Knowledge Based Systems, from Elsevier (Impact Factor: 4.529, Q1 in SCImago).
• Information Systems Journal, from Elsevier (Impact Factor: 2.777, Q1 in SCImago).

SIMBig 2018 proposes four special tracks in addition to the main conference:
