UKAIS Junior Faculty Consortium and Workshop - CALL FOR PARTICIPATION.
The UKAIS Junior Faculty Consortium will take place on Monday, 07 April 2014. The Consortium is set up to provide an opportunity for Junior IS Faculty to discuss important aspects of their academic career and build the networks that will help them with their future career and professional development. As part of the Consortium a panel of established IS faculty from different universities around the UK will give presentations on various relevant aspects of an academic career in IS and will share their own experiences. To date the following panel members have confirmed their participation: • Prof Ola Henfridsson (Warwick Business School) • Prof Julia Kotlarsky (Aston Business School) • Dr Mayasandra-Nagaraja Ravishankar (Loughborough University) In addition to the presentations from these panellists, the Consortium will also provide ample opportunity for delegates to get to know each other through round-table discussions, a formal dinner followed by pub-visit. |
